Truly Utrecht City Gathering

The perfect opportunity to meet Utrechters – internationals & locals

Curious to know who lives in your city? On Monday 2nd of June Utrecht celebrates City Day, the city's anniversary. Between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM, there will be a City Gathering called ‘Truly Utrecht’. It will be taking place in and around City Hall. Everyone in the city is warmly invited to come along, meet others, engage in conversation, and share some food and drinks together.

At long communal tables, you’ll find tasty bites, drinks, and the opportunity to connect with the local and internationalcommunities that make Utrecht such a rich and vibrant city – as well as with people who dedicate their time and energy tomaking Utrecht a better place. Because food brings people together!

There will be space to share stories about what’s happening in the city and what still lies ahead. Because what we give attentionto, grows. Much of today’s attention is focused on (inter)national tensions and increasing polarisation. During this City Gathering,we want to highlight the beauty of what is already happening in Utrecht – and how we meet and connect with each other here.

Everyone is welcome! This gathering is for all Utrechters – internationals & locals, long-time and new residents, people with andwithout housing, food initiatives, cultural & musical projects, everyone working for the city, and anyone simply wishing to meetfellow residents.

Register here!

So come along on the 2nd of June, between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM, to Stadhuisplein (Stadhuisbrug 1) – eat, share, andconnect!

Together, we’ll show what Truly Utrecht is.
