About the event
In this interactive and informative event organised in the heart of democracy of Utrecht: the historical City Hall building, you will meet fellow internationals and get answers to questions such as:

  • How does the Dutch electoral system work?
  • What is my municipality responsible for?
  • Can I vote as an international resident?
  • Why are there so many political parties in the Netherlands?
  • What is the role of the king?
  • How can I be involved in policy and decision-making processes?

Please note: The event will not address the positions and election manifestos of different political parties since International Welcome Centre strives to be politically neutral.
